Surgeons' Hall Museum will be participating in the 2012 Lister Centenary Celebrations by holding an exhibition featuring a new interpretation and display of artefacts, documents, instruments and specimens relating to Joseph Lister’s fascinating life and remarkable work. There will also be a series of associated events commemorating his life and work.
