Inspired by Christine de Pizan’s The Book of the City of Ladies, this special event will look at several of Edinburgh’s valiant medical women, some well known and others who have not been paid the attention they deserve, with special talks on The Women of The Royal College of Surgeons, Women in Warfare and Women in Surgery Today.
