In the year of the London 2012 Games, NYCoS National Boys Choir will inspire and motivate with the world premiere performance of Going for Gold: a sports cantata by composer and librettist duo Tom Cunningham and Derek Roberts. The Choir of over 100 boys will sing their way to first place covering themes of dedication, motivation and commitment while visiting the sports of Rowing, Track and Field, Aquatics and Cycling on the way. The NYCoS National Boys Choir was formed in 2002 to give boys aged 10-16 with unchanged and changed voices a unique opportunity to sing together to the highest standards. The Choir has gone from strength to strength with performances across the UK.
