About Stirling

Stirling is a Scotland's smallest city and former ancient burgh in Scotland. Also known as the "Gateway to the Highlands" it is a great place to stay as it boasts to being only 1hr 30 mins from 85% of Scotland's population. It is steepend in history with Stirling Castle, Bannockburn Heritage Centre and the Wallace Monument to visit and has many quality restaurants, pubs and cafes dotted throughout the city for you to enjoy. There are many other things to see and do including the Smith Art gallery, macrobert Arts Centre, the cinema or a walk around the University of Stirling campus, recognised as one of the most beautiful in the world. There is an abundance of leading shops in the Thistle Marches or try a local boutique shopping experience in the Stirling Arcade. If you are looking for a lively nightlife then there are a few nightlcubs to choose from as well. (Improve this description or add photos)
